Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join as an Acute Care Float in Tennessee for a 13-week contract. The nurse will float to units per staffing needs, under supervision, with night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15 and a 30-minute lunch.

Requirements include an active Tennessee RN license (or multi-state), BLS certification, and Cerner EMR experience. First-time travelers welcome; benefits include health, onboarding support, and travel housing options.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Acute Care Float. The nurse will be assigned by the nursing supervisor at the time of staffing assignments and will float to various units based on patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across various acute care units.
• Monitor and manage patient health status, performing assessments and providing interventions.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and support staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation in Cerner electronic medical records.
• Participate in unit meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Tennessee or a multi-state license.
• BLS certification required.
• Cerner EMR experience is a must.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
