Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Acute Care Float Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Knoxville, TN. The role requires a night shift (3x12 hours) from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a 30-minute lunch.

The nurse will float across Medical, Surgery, Trauma, and other units, delivering high-quality care and documenting in Cerner EMR. Candidates must hold a TN license (or compact), have BLS, and at least 2 years of acute hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital setting.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in TN or a multi-state compact license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Cerner EMR experience necessary.
• Willingness to float to various units as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients in diverse units such as Medical, Surgery, Trauma, and others.
• Adapt quickly to different patient care environments and collaborate with various medical teams.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting progress in Cerner EMR.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care and treatment plans.
