Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff in Seattle is seeking a Registered Nurse for a MedSurg/Telemetry unit (RN - MS Tele). This 17-week assignment features 12-hour shifts, day/night variation, and a high-acuity patient population with strong cardiac focus.

Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, administering medications, admitting and discharging patients, and collaborating with PT, respiratory, and pharmacy teams. Candidates must have at least 2 years Telemetry experience, active RN license, ACLS and BLS

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience.

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Description:This position is for a Registered Nurse in a MedSurg/Telemetry setting.The role involves working with a patient population that has a strong cardiac focus.Responsibilities include admitting and discharging patients effectively.Candidates must have experience with telemetry monitoring.The average daily census is approximately 22 patients, with a mix of post-cardiac procedures and med-surg patients.Travelers must have the ability to float to other acute care areas as needed.Weekend shifts will be required unless the schedule indicates otherwise.Performing assessments, administering medications, and managing treatment plans are essential functions of this role.Candidates will also need to manage IVs, central lines, and various cardiac care procedures.This is a fast-paced unit, and the role requires the ability to multitask and prioritize care effectively.Additional interdisciplinary support will be in place, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.Strong communication skills and teamwork are vital for success in this environment.The position requires the ability to work variable shifts and handle the demands of a busy medical-surgical setting.
