Job summary

Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in West Orange, NJ is seeking motivated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team and elevate resident care. We value leadership and clinical excellence in a supportive, collaborative environment.

You’ll lead, supervise, and mentor staff; coordinate with the Director of Nursing; ensure accurate MDS documentation; and participate in quality-improvement initiatives while delivering compassionate, individualized care to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of New Jersey.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Assistant DON to support daily clinical operations.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care.
• Address team concerns and escalate when appropriate.
• Assist with staffing coordination and scheduling to maintain coverage.
• Conduct staff evaluations, coaching, and performance management.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and facility committees.
• Ensure accurate MDS documentation and assist with discharge planning.
• Provide compassionate, individualized care to residents and families.
