Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) at Kingston Residence of Hickory in Hickory, NC. The role leads a care team to ensure safe medication administration, clinical care, and thorough documentation, while supporting families and coordinating care across admission, stay, and discharge.

Responsibilities include nursing process implementation, daily resident assessments, and timely communication with physicians and nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license.
• Current, valid CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct care providers to ensure medications and treatments are executed correctly, with proper documentation, family teaching, care planning and patient care conferences.
• Use the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure continuity of care from admission through discharge.
• Visit residents daily to observe health status and notify nurse in charge or physician if there are changes.
• Identify problems and emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures if physician is unavailable.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations and charting.
