Requirements include a BSN (or higher), active MA RN license, current BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and leadership experience as a charge nurse. The position includes day-evening rotation and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher required; BSN program may be accepted with completion within 1 year.
• Current Charge experience with demonstrated leadership.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in nursing area.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS within 6 months.
• Department-specific certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical expertise and assesses patient status to meet care standards.
• Plans, evaluates and supervises care for all patients and others as assigned.
• Mentors staff and supports education and performance improvement activities.
• Ensures real-time documentation and completes audits in the clinical area.
• Leading unit operations and coordinating care with the healthcare team.
