Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health's Legacy Hilo unit is seeking a dedicated SNF Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

The role involves administering medications as ordered, transcribing physician orders to the MAR, maintaining medication inventories, conducting thorough resident assessments, and performing admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Hawaii RN license is required.
• At least two years of RN experience.
• Experience in geriatrics preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• First Aid and CPR preferred (can be done in-house).

Responsibilities

• Administers medications/treatments as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures.
• Transcribes orders to MAR and related records.
• Maintains and orders inventory of resident medications and stock supplies.
• Conducts accurate physical assessments and implements appropriate interventions.
• Performs assessments on admission, transfer and/or discharges.
