Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health in Maui is seeking passionate Registered Nurses to provide professional nursing care to residents following facility policies. You will perform comprehensive physical assessments, determine needs, and implement interventions.

You will collaborate with physicians and agencies to improve services, administer medications, oversee CNAs, and ensure compliance with 2-step TB clearance and CPR status requirements; in-house options available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Hawaii RN license.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.
• Experience in geriatrics preferred.
• TB clearance and health review; in-house options available.
• First Aid and CPR preferred (in-house).

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate resident assessments and determine care needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, consultants, and agencies to improve quality.
• Administer medications and manage treatments per policy.

The Position

We're looking for passionate Registered Nurses to help us with providing professional nursing care to residents following established policies and procedures of the facility.

• Conducts accurate physical assessments of residents, determines their needs and implements appropriate interventions to meet those needs.
• Collaborates with physicians, consultants, and agencies to improve quality of services and to resolve identified problems.
• Administers and maintains inventory of resident medications/treatments as ordered by the physician and according to policy and procedures.
• Oversees care delivery by CNAs

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviation.
• Experience in geriatrics and current nursing standards of practice preferred.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
• First Aid and CPR preferred (can be done in-house).
