Job summary

SMP Health – St. Catherine North or St. Catherine South in Fargo, ND is hiring Registered Nurses to lead clinical care on our long-term care units.

You will assess residents, coordinate care plans, administer medications, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safety and quality of life. Qualifications

• Active ND RN license required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to lead and support a care team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Comfortable using electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident assessments and update care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in clinical status.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs on the unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Provide wound care and other skilled nursing interventions.
• Educate residents and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
