Job summary

SMP Health – St. Catherine North and St. Catherine South in Fargo, ND is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct nursing care, administer meds, and support residents at our long-term care facilities.

Join a friendly interdisciplinary team focused on high-quality resident outcomes. We offer full- and part-time opportunities across day, evening, and night shifts with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in North Dakota.
• Strong clinical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Comfortable using electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the RN or provider.
• Perform resident assessments and contribute to care planning.
• Document resident care in the electronic medical record.
• Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as assigned.
• Support and assist CNAs in delivering quality resident care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and care team members.
• Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
• Follow nursing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
