Job summary

A regional academic health system in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking an RN team leader to oversee patient care quality and coordinate staff duties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a safe and effective environment for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing, an active Kentucky RN license, and at least two years of perioperative experience. This role requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to foster effective team dynamics.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky Registered Nurse License or compact license to work in Kentucky.
• Two years perioperative services experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control activities in the assigned unit.
• Assess patient needs and assign duties to staff.
• Coordinate resources to maintain equipment and supply inventory.
