Job summary

UofL Health is seeking an RN team leader to supervise perioperative services, ensuring quality patient care from adolescent to geriatric patients. The role requires coordinating staff, directing care, and maintaining safety standards under department supervision.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing, active KY RN license, and BLS; BSN preferred with a requirement to start/complete BSN if applicable. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (required).
• New-hire RNs must start an approved BSN within 1 year and complete within 3 years (if applicable).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Active Kentucky RN license or compact license with KY privileges (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) by AHA (required).
• CNOR certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and control activities for the assigned service.
• Assign duties, coordinate work, and promote communication among staff.
• Maintain quality patient care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
