Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN in Nursing required.
• NYS License as Registered Professional Nurse in NYS required.
• BLS Training required.
• Infection Control and Child Abuse Reporter Training required.
• OHS Annual Assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates leadership in coordination and delivery of patient care.
• Develops interdisciplinary plan of care and ensure 100% documentation.
• Completes admission assessments within 8 hours and documents team-based care.
• Communicates effectively with patient/family and health care team, ensuring privacy and respect.
• Performs teaching and discharge planning for patients within 24 hours of admission.
