Job summary

UPMC System Float Team is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our internal travel staffing pool. You will rotate to different UPMC facilities across PA, NY, and Western MD with guaranteed hours and competitive compensation.

Earn a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment for eligible candidates. This role offers benefits, professional growth, and exposure to multiple hospital environments through the UPMC system.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in applicable states
• Able to rotate across multiple facilities and units
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care in assigned UPMC facilities and units.
• Rotate assignments approximately every six weeks, with potential redeploy to another facility based on needs.
• Apply strong clinical judgment and problem-solving across patient care scenarios.
• Communicate patient status and changes clearly with physicians and healthcare team.
• Follow hospital policies, infection control, and confidentiality requirements.
• Build effective working relationships across diverse clinical environments and care teams.
• Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and ongoing professional development.
