Job summary

System Support is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the MED SURG WEIGHT LOSS department at Miami Valley Hospital. This full-time shift runs 7p to 7:30a, totaling 72 hours per pay period. The CN coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team and supports patient families with professional, compassionate care.

Required: BSN or enrollment within 5 years, valid Ohio RN license, and current BLS. Acute care experience is not mandatory, but the role demands strong organizational and interpersonal

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN required or must obtain within 5 years of hire.
• Proof of enrollment required within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License.
• Current AHA BLS certification required upon hire.
• Experience: None required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct care delivered by the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain high standards for a caseload of patients per the area of practice.
• Provide physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and families.
