Job summary

Mercy in Illinois is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, ensuring confidentiality and collaboration with other departments. The role evaluates care effectiveness and upholds our Mercy Service Standards for assigned patients.

Education requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN) with an active RN license. BLS is required or will be obtained within 30 days of hire; unit-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required (ADN, diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, etc.).

Responsibilities
