Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care with other departments. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality while upholding Mercy Service Standards across shifts.

The role requires current RN licensure, a qualifying nursing degree (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN) and relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and pediatric/trauma certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• RN license in hiring state or compact licensure is required.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; other unit certifications may be required depending on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information and adheres to Mercy Service Standards.
