Qualifications

• Associate Degree from accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative nursing care in the 16-bed Surgical Progressive Care Unit.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other team members to coordinate care.
• Utilize EPIC electronic charting system to document patient status and care.
• Support safety, comfort, and recovery of post-op patients.

This unit manages post-op surgical adult patients who require post-operative care. Our specialty services include general, urology, gynecology, gynecology/oncology, GI, podiatry, and ENT, just to name a few.Our unit features large private rooms each with standard lift equipment and bedside computers that allow physicians and nurses instant access to medical records at bedside.
