As aSurgicalDepartment Registered Nurse,you’llreport to the Director or Manager to provide professional nursing servicesin the area ofassignment, assess the needs of patients and initiates, and implement and evaluate individualized plans of care. You will collaborate with other professional, clinical, and ancillary staff in providing compassionate and quality care to patients.
As a Registered Nurse,you’llbringa high levelof knowledge and competency in performing nursing care procedures, assessments, treatment, and techniques and your advanced analytical skills are necessary to solve complex problems and make decisions related to patient care. Youdemonstratethe interpersonal skills necessary toestablishand maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, visitors,physiciansand others. Youdemonstratethe ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner. Youhave an understanding ofthe need to be responsive andreasonably adaptablefor scheduling purposes, when necessary, due to extenuating circumstances in support of co-workers and department functions.
