Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association within 1 month of hire.
• Finger printing prior to hire date.
• RN license obtained within 3 months of hire date.
• AAS in Nursing or RN Diploma required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patient and family and healthcare team to identify mutual goals.
• Diagnose, treat and monitor health needs.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing plans.
• Assess and prevent complications related to health issues or treatment.
• Under physician orders, perform nursing interventions and coordinate care.
• Notify physician of patient condition and document appropriately.
• Delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed staff while maintaining safety.
