Job summary

PeaceHealth in Vancouver, WA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Surgical Pre-Op (0.8 FTE Evening). You will help prepare patients for surgery, provide education and support, and work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Pay ranges from $56.92 to $86.09 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and life/disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• ACLS & PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience perioperative/procedural nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Prepare patients for surgical and procedural services.
• Educate patients and families.
• Document care accurately in the medical record.

In this role, you'll help prepare patients for surgery, provide education and support, and work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
