Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle seeks an RN Procedural Periop to provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing invasive or interventional procedures. You will lead nursing assessments, coordinate care, educate patients, and support seamless perioperative experiences.
The role requires WA RN licensure, CPR every two years, ACLS, and PACU/OR residency experience, with strong teamwork and EMR proficiency to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.
As our RN Procedural Periop, you will provide high-quality, skilled nursing services essential for assisting patients to achieve optimum health, functional status, and safe passage through invasive or interventional procedures during episodic or series of visits. You will leverage your expertise across multiple dimensions of nursing practice, driven by the unique and often complex needs of each patient, ensuring optimal outcomes through effective nurse and patient synergies.
Every day you will utilize the nursing process through skilled assessment, triage, education, collaboration, and coordination of healthcare and community resources to support patients in achieving an optimal level of wellness throughout their procedural experience.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate clinical proficiency in procedural and potentially Periop/PACU environments. You will exhibit exceptional assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills, coupled with a deep understanding of patient needs across the health-to-illness continuum, and a commitment to providing patient-centered, safe, and effective care.
