Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights is seeking a Surgical Services Operations Specialist to coordinate patient care in the operating room and lead perioperative staff toward safe, high‑quality outcomes.

You will allocate resources, implement policies, and collaborate with the health care team to enhance department performance and hospital objectives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or active pursuit of degree, preferred.

Hourly Pay Range

$45.21 - $70.08 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do

Responsible for assisting coordination of safe, effective patient care in the operating room, providing guidance and promoting the development of staff. Assures appropriate implementation of policies and procedures, allocates resources (human and material) to the delivery of patient care, assesses the effectiveness of resources and recommends changes to facilitate a positive work environment and collaboration between all members of the health care team. Coordinates the operational needs of the assigned surgical specialty teams to promote attainment of department and hospital strategic goals.

What you will need

• Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or active pursuit of degree, preferred.
• Certification:
  • IL Rn Licensure
  • CPR BLS through American Heart Association
  • CNOR preferred
• Experience:
  • Two years of experience in an acute care OR setting required.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
