Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights is seeking a Surgical Services Operations Specialist to coordinate safe, efficient patient care in the operating room and support staff through policy implementation and resource management.

You will ensure alignment with department goals, lead teams, and oversee schedule coverage for the 7am-3:30pm M-F shift, with a focus on collaboration, staff development, and high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or active pursuit of degree, preferred.
• Certification: IL RN Licensure CPR BLS through American Heart Association CNOR preferred
• Experience: Two years of experience in an acute care OR setting required. Previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting coordination of safe, effective patient care in the operating room, providing guidance and promoting staff development.
• Assures implementation of policies and procedures, allocates resources to patient care, and assesses effectiveness for a positive work environment.
• Coordinates the operational needs of surgical teams to promote attainment of department and hospital goals.
