Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center seeks an experienced Operating Room Manager to lead staffing, operations, and development for Surgical Services. You will direct OR staff, coordinate scheduling, and partner with the Surgical and Perioperative Services Director to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes education, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain service excellence in the operating room.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required and RN license in Illinois.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within 90 days of hire.
• CNOR certification preferred for perioperative leadership.
• Active RN license in good standing in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day OR operations and staffing.
• Provide direction to OR staff, scheduling, and assistants.
• participate in ongoing education and professional development.
• Attend meetings and report to Surgical and Perioperative Services Director.
• Lead hiring processes and ensure documentation and compliance.
• Foster collaboration across departments and professional teams.
• Develop staffing schedules to maximize resource utilization.
• Monitor safety and quality initiatives within the OR.
