Job summary

Kettering Health Dayton is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care during night shifts across diverse clinical settings in Dayton, Ohio. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with the healthcare team to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates hold an Ohio RN license with BLS (ACLS a plus) and nursing credentials (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred; experience in acute care is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• No minimum work experience required; clinical experience during nursing program accepted.
• Current, valid RN license in the State of Ohio. BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

Required Work Experience

• None required
• clinical experience during nursing program accepted.

Required Licenses, Certifications, And Registrations

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
