Job summary

Kettering Health Dayton is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care during night shifts. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring safety and continuity of care across diverse clinical settings.

Required are a nursing degree (ADN/BSN), Ohio RN licensure, and BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days). Clinical experience gained during nursing training is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Clinical experience during nursing program accepted.
• Current, valid RN license in the State of Ohio. BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

Required Work Experience:

• None required
• clinical experience during nursing program accepted.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to clinical area.
