Job summary

Kettering Health Middletown is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time 12-hour shift days position. The RN will deliver patient-centered care, assess and plan care, collaborate with the health care team, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across diverse clinical settings.

Required is graduation from an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in the state of Ohio (or as applicable) and BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state where practice is located and BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient assignments; strong critical thinking.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

Required Work Experience

• None required
• clinical experience during nursing program accepted.

Required Licenses, Certifications, And Registrations

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
