Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ seeks an RN for the Surgical Care unit (3E/W) on the Day shift. The RN applies ANA standards, conducts patient assessments, develops care plans, administers medications and therapies, and collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires 1+ years of RN experience in med-surg or acute care, BLS, and AZ license upon hire. A sign-on bonus is available for this position.

Qualifications

• 1+ years RN experience, med-surg or acute settings
• BLS certification required
• Arizona RN license upon hire or compact state license

Responsibilities

• Collect health data and analyze to develop patient care plans
• Administer medications and therapies, monitor responses and adjust as needed
• Administer IV therapy and manage IV lines
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Teach patients and families about treatment plans, post-care and home care
• Provide supervision and guidance to licensed practical nurses and nursing aides
