Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an RN for the Surgical Float Pool at the Main Campus in Cleveland, OH. This full-time role supports diverse surgical units and emphasizes adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

You will perform scrub and circulating duties, assist surgeons, and ensure OR readiness for procedures across adult and pediatric patients. BLS is required; ADN/BSN is essential.

Qualifications

• RN must be a graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• One year RN experience required or completion of Cleveland Clinic perioperative residency program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting to adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform scrub functions, including selecting and handling instruments and supplies.
• Perform circulating functions, monitoring and communicating patient condition.
• Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks such as hemostasis and suturing.
• Prepare the Operating Room, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour

• Schedule: Full-time, Weekend Days + One Weekday Shift
