Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Same Day Surgery unit on the Main Campus in Cleveland, OH. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on compassionate patient care for procedures allowing same-day discharge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families using educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing protocol.

About This Role

The RN Same Day Surgery position at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus involves providing direct nursing care to patients undergoing less complicated surgeries that often allow for same-day discharge. This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers who excel in patient interaction and support.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
