Job summary

Scripps Mercy Hospital-San Diego, part of Scripps Health, seeks a benefited, full-time RN for a 12-hour Night shift Charge RN in the Surgery Department. Located in San Diego, this role involves overseeing care in a busy OR setting and collaborating with the Care Team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Night shift includes call requirements (about 16–24 hours/month) and eligible new hires receive a $4K incentive plus a $3K relocation incentive.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, including assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress toward expected outcomes.
• Takes primary responsibility for patient care as delivered by the Care Team under supervision.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Join our busy Surgery Department team as a Perioperative RN, working across multiple operating room suites including trauma, ortho, spine, urology, bariatric, plastics, robotics and general.

This is a benefited, full-time 12 hour Night shift OR RN position. There is usually call required which is around 16-24 hours of call per month as a Night shift Charge RN. Located at Scripps Mercy Hospital-San Diego.

This position includes an Incentive of $4K and a Relocation Incentive of $3K to eligible new hires.
