Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

About This Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Surgery Unit at Cleveland Clinic’s Mercy Hospital, you will provide care to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures. This role is ideal for dedicated caregivers who thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

• Pay: $36 - $56/hour

What You’ll Do

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Perform scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedures.
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition.
• Manage overall nursing care of patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Prepare the OR, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required

Experience:

• One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
