Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an experienced RN in Surgery to assist in delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work with a dedicated team in a world-class healthcare environment in Cleveland, OH.

Responsibilities include nursing care in the operative setting, scrub and circulating duties, OR prep, patient interaction, and providing healthcare education as needed. RN license, BLS, and ACLS within six months of hire are required or anticipated.

• BSN preferred.

About This Role

As an RN in Surgery at Cleveland Clinic, you will assist in delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, working alongside a dedicated team in a world-class healthcare environment.

Highlights

• Pay: $33.50 - $53.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Schedule: Day/Night rotation from 7am – 7:30pm OR 7pm – 7:30am

What You'll Do

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Perform scrub and circulating functions.
• Prepare the OR, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.
• Supply healthcare education as needed.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience:

• One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within six months of hire
