Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift with on-call coverage including holidays. You will render high-quality nursing care, assess patient conditions, and document observations while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across our growing network of facilities.

Qualified candidates hold an Illinois RN license, an Associate degree in nursing (BSN within 5 years preferred), and current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (or higher) is required; BSN within 5 years preferred.
• Illinois RN licensure is required to practice.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care with critical thinking and record observations.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions; plan, evaluate and delegate care as needed.
• Collaborate with the health care team to meet unit goals.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What You Will Do

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What You Will Need

• Education:
  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• License/Certification:
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
