Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time role (30 hrs/week). Hours are 9:30a to 10p, Monday–Friday, with weekend rotation and 4–5 call shifts per year.

The position offers premium pay based on shifts and on-call duties, with opportunities for annual increases and career growth. The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred within 5 years), an Illinois RN license, CPR (BLS), and ACLS/PALS within set timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher (BSN preferred within 5 years)
• Illinois RN license current
• CPR (BLS) certification
• ACLS within 90 days of start
• PALS within 90 days of start

Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
• Assess patients' condition, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care.
• Monitor patients' progress and record pertinent observations.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients' condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients' progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Education: Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• License/Certification: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
