Job summary

Social Circle Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to oversee all aspects of operating a unit within a health care facility. Extensive clinical experience is a must, with prior administrative experience and training in both nursing and administration.

The role involves supervising nursing staff, supervising admissions, and coordinating with families, patients, doctors and other departments. The position runs Monday through Friday night shift, 3p-11p, full time.

Qualifications

• Extensive clinical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit operations and supervise nursing staff.
• Assist with treatment and medication administration.
• Assist with admissions.
• Attend weekly meetings.
• Conduct daily audits of new admission charts.
• Liaise between family, patient, doctor and other departments.
• Investigate incident reports and follow-up.
• Manage staff assignments to ensure quality of care.
• Report on patient conditions in weekly risk meetings.
• Participate in annual staff evaluations.
