Job summary

The Rouse Estate in Youngsville, PA is seeking a Weekend ONLY RN Supervisor to lead nursing services on the assigned unit. 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, with 7a-7p and 7p-7a rotations, ensuring high-quality resident care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, PA RN license, and at least 2 years in long-term care with 1 year in supervision. Equal opportunity employer.

What does a RouseRN Supervisor do?

• Direct, evaluate and supervise the nursing services on assigned unit in order to provide continuity of the highest quality of care.
• Assess nursing needs of residents, develop and manage care plans.
• Oversees and delegates nursing staff, assisting in their growth and development.
• Provides effective distribution and utilization of staff on shift.
• Assumes full charge of nursing units as necessary and in emergency situations.
• Ensure that the dignity of all residents is preserved.
• Supports and follows through with team goals.
• Enhances nursing department by working together as a team to accept ownership for tasks while exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

What are the requirements to be an RN Supervisor at the Rouse?

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a license as a registered nurse issued by the PA State Board of Nursing Education & Licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in long term care or gerontological nursing with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Must possess effective leadership and communication skills.
• Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements may be considered for Staff RN positions when available.
