Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate systems to facilitate quality resident care.
• Facilitate resolution of issues related to resident/patient care including family issues.
• Implement and evaluate nursing procedures and systems for unit programming.
• Make nursing diagnoses that guide care strategy.
• Perform nursing assessments of health status of residents.
• Develop and implement care plans.
• Provide health education to patients and families.
• Participate in quality assurance activities.
• Adhere to scope of practice limitations.
• Complete forms and documents per policy and regulations.
• Cover general nursing duties during emergencies or staffing shortages.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Nursing.
