Forest Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor/Unit Manager to lead nursing care in a skilled facility. The role emphasizes nursing process, coordination of resident care, and supervision of CNAs while ensuring quality outcomes.

The position includes on-site work with opportunities for full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules and a competitive benefits package. A $7500 sign-on incentive is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Valid PA state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current AHA BCLS certification.
• Demonstrated experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Excellent communication and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing knowledge to safely implement preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative care.
• Performs independent nursing functions using established procedures and standards.
• Admits and assesses residents including initial care plan.
• Administers assessments, treatments, medications, and diets with accurate documentation.
• Completes required resident charting each shift.
• Makes rounds on unit to assess orderliness and infection control.
• Coordinates discharge planning with physicians and other departments.
• Directs and supervises CNAs and nursing staff at bedside.
• Collaborates with the health care team to coordinate resident care.
