Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• Current WI RN licensure and CPR certification required.
• Minimum two years of health or nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Assist with unit management and respond to emergencies and staffing issues.
• Give and receive reports and supervise/preserve nursing care plans.
• Assess patients and develop care plans including rehabilitative activities.
• Admit/orient new patients and review medical/social histories.
• Order medications, requisition supplies, and document patient outcomes.
• Discharge or transfer patients and participate in in-service education.
• Take vital signs, administer meds, provide treatments, and notify physicians of changes.
• Maintain narcotic records and complete unit charting.
