Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Spencer County in Kentucky is seeking an RN to provide direct nursing care, manage medications, and supervise nursing staff. You will support residents with ADLs, document care, and coordinate admissions and discharges in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Long-term care experience and supervisory role preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the shift per policy.
• Monitor residents’ status and notify physician or responsible party of changes.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per facility policy.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
