Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Spencer County in Kentucky is seeking an experienced RN for direct resident care, supervision of nursing staff, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include medication administration, ADL support, and maintaining thorough clinical documentation.

A current RN license and strong communication skills are required; supervisory experience is preferred. EHR familiarity and Microsoft Office proficiency are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role, preferred.
• Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the shift.
• Monitor and observe residents’ status and notify physician for changes.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per facility policy.
