Job summary

The Surgical Services Registered Nurse Leadership Team at MUSC Florence seeks an experienced RN to join the leadership group. The role includes supervising staff, contributing to budgeting and strategic initiatives, and ensuring quality patient care.

Eligible for state health benefits and retirement; up to six weeks parental leave is offered. Bachelor's degree and management experience preferred; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent; 6 years progressive work experience and 1 year management experience preferred.
• State licensure and/or professional certification requirement dependent on position.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• First level management supervising one or more areas and multiple staff.
• Input on hires, promotions, and day-to-day staff activities.
• Coordinate strategy, project management, budget planning and financial operations within the department.
