Lockport Skilled Rehab in Gasport, NY is seeking a registered nurse (RN) supervisor for a full-time, in-person role overseeing nursing staff and resident care. You will schedule staff, monitor vital signs, and ensure high-quality care in a compassionate setting.

Formación

• Current New York State RN license in good standing.
• Familiarity with NYS Department of Health regulations and guidelines.
• Previous experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and assign nursing staff to complete resident care requirements.
• Measure and record residents' vital signs as needed upon assessment.
• Develop and modify care plans.
• Ensure infection control compliance and maintain a safe environment.
• Administer high-quality nursing care to residents.
• Develop and implement resident treatment and care plans.
• Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms or behaviors.
• Communicate with physicians and specialists regarding resident care.
• Educate residents on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical records for all residents.
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
• Provide information to residents and staff by answering questions and requests.
• Maintain cooperative relationships among health care teams.
