Westminster at Lake Ridge in Lake Ridge, VA is seeking a Part-Time weekend RN Supervisor to oversee nursing care in our Continuing Care Retirement Community. This position directs resident care, enforces standards and maintains quality care reports, with 3–5 years nursing supervisory experience and RN certification required.

Our community offers Independent Living, Assisted Living and Health Center services with ~270 staff serving 400+ residents on 62 acres.

Qualifications

• Three to five years nursing supervisory experience and RN certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is stated in requirements as preferred path.
• Strong communication, leadership and care-system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Direct and evaluate resident care provided by nurses within the community.
• Administer disciplinary actions and nursing care reporting as needed.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in nursing, three (3) to five (5) years nursing supervisory experience with Registered Nurse certification required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and be knowledgeable on general nursing principles. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications and Care System paging systems.

Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for directing and evaluating all resident care given by the nurses within the Ingleside community. Additional duties include administering disciplinary action and nursing care reporting.
