Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Progressive Care Unit to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating all unit functions with the management team. This role serves as a key resource for staff and supports an exceptional patient experience.

The CNC partners with a multidisciplinary team, assists with admissions and discharges, and works on improving outcomes and service.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse credential is required.
• Associate Degree required for the position.
• 1 year of nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Support improved outcomes and service with leadership and SMEs.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What Qualifications You Will Need
