Job summary

The University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking an RN Supervisor to help manage Century City Primary, Immediate and Multi-Specialty Care clinics. This role blends direct patient care with administrative nursing responsibilities and clinical leadership.

You will oversee daily operations, triage, mentor staff, participate in recruitment, and work with providers to ensure compliant, efficient workflows and timely service delivery, aiming to reduce wait times and improve satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• BSN or MSN
• 3 years of recent RN ambulatory experience, preferably in an urgent care or ED setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations, including supply management and workflow coordination for efficient clinic performance
• Provide triage support and direct patient care as needed to maintain safe and timely service delivery
• Supervise, coach, mentor clinical staff; conduct training, competency assessments, and evaluations
• Support recruitment efforts including interviewing, onboarding, and developing new clinical team members
• Work with providers and clinical staff on the floor, assisting with procedures and patient care
• Ensure workflows, processes, and equipment comply with regulatory and organizational standards
• Monitor operational efficiency to reduce overtime, wait times, and improve satisfaction
