Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Supervisor to coordinate patient care and services, promoting quality care through collaborative processes in a post-acute setting. The role requires nursing licensure in the state, 2 years of nursing experience (geriatrics preferred), and CPR certification.

The supervisor will lead licensed staff and CNAs, ensure adherence to laws and Life Care standards, and maintain confidentiality while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Active RN license in the applicable State.
• Two years of nursing experience; geriatric experience preferred.
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide, manage, and coordinate patient care and services through interpersonal contact, which allows patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well being
• Assist patients daily to evaluate quality of patient care rendered
• Direct licensed staff and CNAs in prioritizing patient care needs/reporting requirements
• Assess patients’ needs and develop plans of care
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
