Job summary

ST. Vincent Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for part-time shifts (7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm) to lead the nursing team and ensure high standards of patient care in a long-term care setting.

The role requires an RN license in New Jersey and a nursing degree. Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required; LPNs may be considered. The facility emphasizes compassionate care and staff development across shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• LPN may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
